The Apostolate for Family Consecration's Consecration in Truth Family Catechesis Program is an excellent way to form your family in the Catholic faith. The program is designed for families to use in the home or for groups of families to learn together and build community. During the school year kids and families meet every Thursday night in the undercroft at Guardian Angels from 4:45 - 5:30 PM. If that doesn't work for you, the Apostolate's In the Home guide makes it easy for families to get started on their own. Below are some of the highlights of the program:
- Family-centered program designed by families for families
- Complete, faithful yet simple presentation of doctrine allows simultaneous formation of parents and children
- Encouraged by Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI
- Uses The Apostolate's Family Catechism along with video commentary by Francis Cardinal Arinze (both available online at www.FamilyCatechism.com)
- Scripture rich content covering the Creed, Sacraments, Ten Commandments and Prayer
- Integrates the faith into daily life
- Stimulates a desire for a personal relationship with God and a deeper prayer life
- Fun, laidback atmosphere
- No cost, no obligation
